4 This painting presents the contrast between two sides of medieval life. The inn is on the left and the church on the right. What can you see? What do you think life in towns was like? Resource Immersion

5 The Luttrell Psalter is an illuminated manuscript written by monks in Medieval Times. It is one of England's greatest art treasures commissioned by Sir Geoffrey Luttrell in 1320. It took approximately ten years to complete and the artist is unknown. Itis considered by historians to be the best surviving pictorial documentation of everyday life in England during the Middle Ages. Resource Immersion
