4 A Club Sponsor is … An experienced Toastmaster involved with the formation of a brand new Toastmasters club. 4

5 A Club Sponsor …  Acts as a connection to Toastmasters International providing advice and answers to questions  Organizes and motivates the new club  Sets up regular club meetings  Completes paperwork and plans charter presentation  Generates interest and enthusiasm for the new club  Helps recruit new members 5

6 A Club Mentor is … An experienced Toastmaster who advises and tutors a brand new club until it can operate independently. 6

7 A Club Mentor …  Builds rapport with the club  Explains the Toastmasters educational program and the organization’s website  Ensures club officers are trained  Conducts programs from the Successful Club Series  Ensures the club is strong and functional  Helps build membership and creates a positive, quality club environment 7
