6 Pronoun This is Robin. He is a good student. He goes to school everyday and learns his lessons well. His teachers love him very much. Robin is a Noun. He, his, him are used instead of Robin. So these are Pronoun. A Pronoun is a word which is used instead of a Noun and indicates that Noun.

8 Personal Pronoun I write with a pen. Your books are new. This is your doll. This pen is mine. We play with dolls. He is very angry. I, we, you, he, him, his, your, her, their, it are Personal Pronoun. They are used in stead of a person or thing.

9 Kinds of Personal Pronoun Personal Pronoun First Person Second Person Third Person Personal Pronoun is of three kinds. They are: 1.Personal Pronoun of the First Person: I, me, my, mine, we, us, our, ours 2.Personal Pronoun of the Second Person: You, your, yours 3.Personal Pronoun of the Third Person: He, him, his, she, her, hers, they, them, their, theirs, it, its etc. Personal Pronoun is of three kinds. They are: 1.Personal Pronoun of the First Person: I, me, my, mine, we, us, our, ours 2.Personal Pronoun of the Second Person: You, your, yours 3.Personal Pronoun of the Third Person: He, him, his, she, her, hers, they, them, their, theirs, it, its etc.

10 Demonstrative Pronoun These are mangoes. That is a house. This is a bag. Those are girls. This, that, these, those are Demonstrative Pronoun. They are used to indicate persons or things.

11 Indefinite Pronoun Many of the children are students. You can take some of the pens. Any of them will get a prize. Everybody likes a flower. One, some, any, many, somebody, nobody, everybody, anyone, someone, something, nothing etc. are Indefinite Pronoun.

12 Distributive Pronoun Each of them is a good player. Neither of the two boys can eat well. Either of the two boys will stand first. Each, either, neither, every are Distributive Pronoun.

13 Interrogative Pronoun Who are you? What is he? What is this? Whose is this doll? What is this? What is he doing? Who, which, what, whom, whose are Interrogative Pronoun. They are used to ask question about a person or thing.

14 Relative Pronoun This is the dog which bit him. This is the cow which I bought yesterday. The man who is lying is poor. I have a shirt which is costly. The man who is cutting paddy is a farmer. This is the boy whose father is a barber. Which, who, whom, whose are Relative Pronoun. They sit in stead of nouns and join two sentences.

15 Reflexive Pronoun The woman fans herself. The baby washes itself. She hurt herself. Myself, ourselves, yourself, himself, herself, themselves are Reflexive Pronoun.

16 Reciprocal Pronoun The two boys help each other. Village people fight with one another. Each other, one another are Reciprocal Pronoun.
