15 RESOURCES Federal Grants grants.gov Free Search by category of grant (program), i.e. Education, or by agency  For example: Opportunity Status: Posted Funding Instrument Type: Cooperative Agreement or Grant Eligibility: Public and State controlled institutions of higher education Category: Agriculture Agency: Department of Agriculture Result: Youth Farm Safety Education and Certification cooperative agreement opportunity

17 RESOURCES State Grants ca.gov/grants Free In addition to the CCTE Incentive Grant program, search by category of grant (program area), i.e. Business, Employment, and Training/Jobs and Training Grants—or—Health/Healthcare Workforce Development; not simply Education  For example: Area: Health Sub-Area: Healthcare Workforce Development Result: Song-Brown Health Care Workforce Training Act to fund, among other priorities, family nurse practitioner, physician assistant and registered nurse education programs throughout California.

18 RESOURCES Local Support  Identify local stakeholders/potential partners for program  Identify ways your program assists them; specifically how they can assist the program  Meet one-on-one and establish a relationship! Engage them with the program and your students!
