2 Directions from: National Airport (Washington, D.C.): From airport, follow signs for I-66W. Once on I-66W, continue for 20-30 miles. Take Rt 29S at Gainesville/Warrenton (this will be the second Rt 29 exit). Follow Rt 29S into Charlottesville. See map for complete directions once in Charlottesville. Total trip approximately 2.5 hours. Dulles Airport (Washington, D.C.) Take Rt 28S to Centerville (first exit out of airport). Take I-66W for 5-10 miles. Take Rt 29S at Gainesville/Warrenton (this will be the second Rt 29 exit). Follow Rt 29S into Charlottesville. See map for complete directions once in Charlottesville. Total trip approximately 2 hours. Richmond, VA: Take I-64W (toward Staunton). Approaching Charlottesville, take I-64E exit #118B (Rt 29N). You will now be on Rt 29N & Rt 250 Bypass. Take the second exit Rt 250 Business/Ivy Road. Turn left at the second traffic light (Copeley (Alderman) Road).University Hall will be on the right. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Massie Road. On the left you will pass Klockner Soccer Stadium, some dorms, and the North Grounds Recreation Center. The entrance to Darden is the second left. Total trip approximately 1.5 hours. Baltimore, MD: Take I-95S to Washington, D.C. Take I-495W to Silver Spring (this turns into I-495S to Northern Virginia). Take I-66W (toward Front Royal). Continue on I-66W for 20-30 miles and take Rt 29S at Gainesville/Warrenton (this will be second Rt 29 exit). Follow Rt 29S into Charlottesville. See map for complete directions once in Charlottesville. Total trip approximately 3 hours. Staunton, VA: Take I-81N to I-64E (toward Richmond). Approaching Charlottesville, take I-64E exit #118B (Rt 29N). You will now be on Rt 29N & Rt 250 Bypass. Take the second exit Rt 250 Business/Ivy Road.
