11 EX01 – Standard Extract The Standard Extract program selects students on the basis of the following criteria:  Enrollment Status  Date of Enrollment  Name  Grade Level  Record Room  Record Number  Local Options 1-7  Track and/or School. 10

12  Running EX01 Program will give a count only.  We want a count of all the active, inactive, and left on date student enrollment. Standard Extract–Exercise #1 (EX01) 11

13 Standard Extract – Exercise #2 (EX01) The APSCS wants a list of 11 th and 12 th grade students and their year of graduation, sorted by grade level. USING ID99,1 12

14 EX02 – Class Extract The Class Extract program selects students based on:  Semester  Emphasis Code  Gender  Grade  School  Period  Class Number  Course Number 13

17 EX03 – Customized Extract The Customized Extract program selects students and sorts student records on the basis of almost any information entered with program ID01.  Student Selection: Field # + Logical Operator + Data Code  Sort Selection : Five field sort order options 16

18 Legend For Logical Operators = Equal to Example: 141 = 11 to include only 11 th graders (field 141 is the grade level). #Not equal to Example: 141# 11 to exclude 11 th graders (to select #, select Shift +3). <Less than Example: 434<350 to select student who received less than 350 points (field 434 is the ELA component of CAHSEE). >Greater than Example: 439>349 to select students who received more than 349 points (field 439 is the MATH component of CAHSEE). [Less than or equal to Example: 104 [ 01-01-96 to select students who were born on or before 01/01/1996. ]Greater than or equal to Example: 104 ] 01-01-96 to select students who were born on or after 01/01/1996 CContains Example: 101 C ADAM to select students whose name field contains Adam F3OR (v) Example 432 # Pv437 # P To select any student that has not passed the ELA (field 432) and/or Math (field 437) component of CAHSEE. 17
