5 Increasing Need for Technical Education By 2018, Harvard University predicts only 33% of all jobs will require a 4-year degree or more, while the overwhelming majority will be middle-skilled jobs requiring technical skills and training at the Credential or Associates Degree level.

7 CARCAM 2015 Career Path Survey Data 576 Responses - Technical Students From 12 Colleges 63.3% were strongly influenced by friends or family, Counselor/teachers were second with 25.5% 54% did not attend any technology-centered events in H. S. 40% have worked in manufacturing, 23% = incumbent workers 40% have been in apprentice programs, 14% are currently participating 45.6% had attended other college programs (26.7% academic program and 18.9% another technical program)
