3. 3 ELI and Technology This presentation will outline… How the ELI Class of 2000 used the technology of eGroups.com as tool for communicating and accessing information The capabilities and benefits provided by the eGroups The role of the eGroups in creating an on-line network for ELI members

4. 4 Past ELI Classes The ELI class had to first decide how they were going to deal with the traditional problems experienced by ELI classes. Past ELI classes complained of a lack of communication between trainer and class members, lack of communication regarding project status between members, lack of involvement of some class members and problems in sharing research and documents.
