3. Today is Eucharistic Adoration for the Juniors. All are welcome to come and pray in the presence of Our Risen Lord any time throughout the day.

4. ICE Dress Down Day Friday, April 1 (NO JOKE!) Cost $3

5. MAPS students please go to the Donahue Pavilion to take your yearbook picture. We should be able to take the picture before the end of homeroom so no one will be late to class.

6. The French Club photo will be in room (208) right after announcements.

7. The students who participate in The BSU, FYI and Maria Goretti will have their pictures taken for the year book on Friday April 1st during am announcements in the Donahue Pavilion

8. Oakland Catholic girl’s lacrosse lost a tough game to Peter’s Township, 16-9. Bella Alampi had 3 goals, Chris Cooper had 2, Natalie Cysterski, Maggie Halferty, Katherine Smith, and Sophie all had 1 goal each. Mary Beth Miller had 16 saves. Earlier the JV lost 10-6. Jackie Goldcamp had 3 goals, Maggie O’Brien, Taylor Ilov, and Caroline Ciocco each had 1.

9.  There will be a French Club meeting on April 5 th after school in room 208.  It will be our conversation meeting, where you can come and practice speaking.  All levels of French are welcome to come! French Club

10. The Oakland Catholic Track and Field Team beat Woodland Hills 83 to 31 and McKeesport 98 to 7. The team won 13 out of 17 events. There were too many winners to name. Congratulations to all.

12. Congratulations, Isabella Very. She has been accepted and received a scholarship into the 2016 High School Summer Scholars Program at Washington University in St. Louis.

13. Congratulations, Kathryn Hornyak She has been named New York Women in Communications Foundation Scholarship recipient - Class of 2016!. She was chosen because of her impressive achievements and passion for the field of communications.
