Girls Volleyball: East Feature Athlete – Oakland Catholic's Natalie Palastro Name: Natalie Palastro High School: Oakland Catholic Grade: 11 Sport: Girls Volleyball Position: Outside Hitter Background Info: Palastro has been a member of the varsity team for 3 years. This is her second year as a starter and major contributor to the teams success. She just came off a fantastic club season having competed at nationals with another Oakland Catholic teammate, Caroline Bain. She plays volleyball year round and helps to coach younger players in her free time. Quotes from Oakland Catholic coach Karisa Haslett: Natalie is a player with so much passion for the game. Her intelligence on the court makes her a weapon from the front and back row. Natalie is our go to hitter and we can always count on her in pressure situations. She has a tough serve and plays phenomenal defense. As a captain, Natalie leads the court not only with her play, but with her knowledge and passion for the game. She's a fun player to watch go for every ball giving 100% all the time. From the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
