2. What is the purpose of my site? ▪ Andrew’s Blog is just a way for me to post about things I am interested in. ▪ It has posts about Movies, Music, and Science. I would also like to add more things about other interests of mine including Politics, Software Development, and TV Shows. ▪ The purpose is just a way for me to talk about things that interest me and hopefully reach an audience that has similar interests to me.

3. What have I added to the site? ▪ I have added a few plugins to add functionality. ▪ These include: – Contact Form by BestWebSoft- allowing me to create a contact form. – Disable Comments- Alllows me to disable comments if something gets out of hand. – Slideshow- Allows me to create a slideshow of pictures on a post. – The Events Calendar- Allows me to have a Calendar on my site that I can add events to. – WP-SpamShield- Which prevents many types of Spam.

4. Theme and child Theme ▪ The Theme I went with was called Stanley. ▪ I went with it because it was simple and clean. ▪ I change some colors around, but honestly there weren’t a lot of changes I could make because it was overall very simple.

5. Next Steps ▪ I would like to add more content including: – More Events – More Posts ▪ Add more styling as I see fit to give it my own stamp. ▪ When more content exists I would like to split the blog posts up by Category (Movies, Science, etc.)

6. Most Challenging Parts ▪ Wordpress was completely new to me, so I had a lot to learn. ▪ Plugins can sometimes be a little tricky to implement. ▪ This assignment taught me so much about Wordpress. I learned what to do and what not to do. There were many things that I wish I would have known before and had I had more time I wish I could have done more with it.
