21 Survey Results: Liabilities

22 OPPORTUNITIES & LIABILITIES Conclusions Collaboration with Universities Impact on the company image Resources allocated to the work plan design and the student´s training Language adaptation

23 Survey Results: Additional general feedback Languages is a crucial aspect. Skills on Integrated Management System (SAP, Microsoft, etc.) should be also considered. The experience with foreign students is good for the company. The duration of the internships is sometimes an inconvenient (No time to reach high experience). Skills and competence development during the internships depends on the tasks assigned to the student.

24 Survey Results: Data breakdown depending on companies´size. OPPORTUNITIES & LIABILITIES

29 Opportunities: There is no clear relation between the companies’ size and what they consider as opportunities. Companies do not appreciate the “returns in term of company image” or the “knowledge of foreign societies and markets” as opportunities. Micro companies believe that having “additional foreign languages skills for the company and staff” is beneficial. While companies with 10-49 employees do not see this as an opportunity. Companies with 50-249 employees and those with more than 250 (big companies) appreciate the new “opportunity to collaborate with Universities”.

36 Liabilities: All of the companies, regardless of their size, believe the main problems are the “resources allocated for design the working plan and training of the student” as well as the “bureaucratic problems”. Big companies find “problems of integration with the staff”, while other companies see this problem below the average. For none of the companies, the “problems with intellectual property of the results of research activities of the students” are regarded as important. In general, the companies do not consider any problem as relevant.

48 Opportunities & Liabilities: Even if the organisations do not highlight one opportunity over the other, “additional foreign languages skills for the company and staff” seems to be the most important. Business associations find the “new opportunity of collaboration with University” really appealing, while few consider important the “knowledge of foreign societies and markets”. Both companies and business associations find as most important the “bureaucratic problems” and the “resources allocated for design the working plan and training of the student”. Companies also consider as a problem the “integration with the staff”, while business association are more worried about “dissemination of sensitive information of the company”.

49 To be discussed: ¿How should this information be considered in the ERASMUS QUALITY HOSTING FRAMEWORK? ?
