Outline Apakah AI itu? Aplikasi AI Cabang-cabang ilmu AI

AI ? Manusia  homo sapiens  man the wise AI  attempts to understand intelligent entities Learn AI == Learn more about ourselves. Philosophy & Psychology also concerned with intelligence. AI  trying to understand AND build the intelligent entities

AI ? formally initiated in 1956 Regularly cited as “field I would like to be in” Still has opening for Full time Einstein!

What is AI ?

Acting Humanly I propose to consider the question "Can machines think?" This should begin with definitions of the meaning of the terms "machine" and "think." Alan M. Turing (1912-1954) introduced Turing test in 1950 Turing Test is meant to determine if a computer program has intelligence.

Turing Test The computer need to posses the following capabilities: Natural language processing To enable it to communicate successfully in English or other language Knowledge Representation To store information provided before or during the interrogation Automated Reasoning To use the stored information to answer question and to draw new conclusion Machine Learning To adapt to new circumstances and to detect and extrapolate patterns

Thinking Humanly (cognitive science) How human think? Through introspection Through psychological experiment GPS (General Problem solver) by Newell and Simon  more concerned with comparing the trace of reasoning steps to traces of human subjects solving the same problem Contras with a research by Wang (1960)  concerned with getting the right answer regardless of how human might do it.

Thinking Rationally

AI Branches The branches of Artificial Intelligence split off in many directions, and some overlap quite extensively. It is therefore difficult to classify them.

AI Branches Robotic Vision System Learning System Natural Language Processing Expert System Neural Network

AI Applications Computer audition (CA) general field of study of algorithms and systems for audio understanding by machinealgorithms 1.Speech recognition (ex : Siri on iphone 4S) 2.Speaker recognition (check : http://www.speaker-recognition.org/ )http://www.speaker-recognition.org/

AI Applications Virtual Intelligence 1.Second China virtual training for learning how to interact with culture and language in a foreign country 2.Duke School of Nursing Training Simulation

AI Applications Game artificial intelligence refers to techniques used in computer and video games to produce the illusion of intelligence in the behavior of non-player characters (NPCs).computer and video gamesillusionintelligencenon-player characters DOTA ? CS ?

AI Applications Computer vision is a field that includes methods for acquiring, processing, analysing, and understanding images and, in general, high- dimensional data from the real world in order to produce numerical or symbolic information 1.Handwriting Recognition 2.Facial Recognition System 3.Silent speech interface

AI Applications Natural language processing (NLP) is a field of computer science and linguistics concerned with the interactions between computers and human (natural) languages; Specifically, the process of a computer extracting meaningful information from natural language input and/or producing natural language outputcomputer sciencelinguistics 1.Question Answering 2.Machine Translation

AI Applications expert system is a computer system that emulates the decision-making ability of a human expert

AI Applications Information extraction (IE) is a type of information retrieval whose goal is to automatically extract structured information from unstructured and/or semi-structured machine-readable documents. information retrieval machine-readable "Yesterday, New-York based Foo Inc. announced their acquisition of Bar Corp.“  MergerBetween(company 1,company 2,date),

AI Applications Vehicle Infrastructure Integration (VII) is an initiative fostering research and applications development for a series of technologies directly linking road vehicles to their physical surroundings, first and foremost in order to improve road safetyroad safety

Diskusi Kelas Buat kelompok Diskusikan ttg aplikasi AI yg ada disekitar kalian yg paling kalian suka Bayangkan ttg aplikasi AI yg ingin kalian buat.
