4 In 44 BC Roman Emperor Julius Caesar was assassinated by high ranking Roman Senators. The day is known as the "Ides of March." Caesar was stabbed in the back by his friend Marcus Brutus. 5 In 1938 oil was discovered in Saudi Arabia. Oil reserves in Saudi Arabia are the second largest claimed in the world, estimated to be 267 billion barrels. 6 On this day in 1985 Kellan Lutz was born. He is an actor in the popular movie Twilight. 7 On this day in 1968, construction starts on the north tunnel of the Eisenhower/Johnson Memorial Tunnel on Interstate 70 in Colorado. 9 In 2000 a new Goodyear Blimp was launched, about a half a year after the previous Blimp had crashed. A woman described her experience while riding this airship for about 45 minutes.
