Pasadena Water and Power MWD 10-Day Shutdown Metropolitan Water District (MWD) will suspend water deliveries to Pasadena and other member agencies:  Start date: Monday, February 29, 2016  Scheduled Completion: Wednesday, March 9, 2016. About 60% of Pasadena’s water is imported from MWD Pasadena must rely solely on local groundwater supplies and water stored in reservoirs during the shutdown 2

3. Pasadena Water and Power 3 MWD Construction MWD is constructing a new ozone treatment facility at their Weymouth Treatment Plant in the City of LaVerne Plant will be shut down for 10 days to allow for switchover No imported water will be delivered to Pasadena during the shutdown.
