15 Career Directions Designed by Employment Services. A computerised career guidance tool containing: - A self-assessment tool to assist clients in identifying work preferences based on likes and dislikes and presents the client with a range of suitable careers which match these preferences. - A Careers database of over 700 careers. Information on labour market opportunities and trends. Career Directions incorporates three versions, two refer to the Internet www.careerdirections.ie, (a text based WAI compliantwww.careerdirections.ie version while the other uses flash and other java tools). The third version is CD based.

16 Job Clubs DSP-funded – Based in local Community and Voluntary Groups. Provides job-seeking support to clients referred by the Employment Services. Formal training sessions provided in job- seeking skills, job application and interview skills. Free telephone, fax and computer facilities.
