Child Mortality By Nandita, Mia and Ndashi

What Is Child Mortality? Child mortality means the child death rate under the age of 5 per 1000 live births. The rate in Cambodia is about 51 deaths per 1000 live births... Which is really high.

Why DO children die? Children mostly die because of diseases. Diarrhea, ARI and neonatal causes are the most biggest. Diarhhea happens because of usage of dirty water ( to drink, cook) To fight these diseases you need vaccinations and most children don't receive them. Lots of children die in Cambodia... Its really sad 

STOPING these diseases/child mortality TRY to use clean water for anything In hospitals, try to avoid handling the new born baby unnecessarily and clean equipment so that babies don't get infected. More midwives in hospitals and wells in rural places

People/Organizations that have taken action. Ms. Penelope Campbell, UNICEF Ms. Dianna, Aid in Action Mr. Mike Roberts Mr. Robin Marduesz, USAID Ms. Alysha Beyer, PSI Ms. Janne, Tabitha
