4 To Prepare for Our Workshop  Take out your rough draft of your personal essay.  We will be participating in a partner workshop, due to feedback from your peers.  Write the feedback you are looking for at the top of your paper.

5 Partner Workshop  STEP ONE: Carefully choose a partner to work with to complete this workshop.  STEP TWO: The person with the closest birthday will go first as the feedback provider.  STEP THREE: The writer will discuss what kind of feedback he or she is looking for in his or her essay.  STEP FOUR: The writer will give his or her essay to the evaluator to read aloud.  STEP FIVE: The evaluator will complete the steps on the Peer Workshop sheet with the writer to have meaningful conversation about the essay. DO NOT SWITCH ROLES UNTIL I TELL YOU TO DO SO!

6 Homework  A revised version of your rough draft is due on Thursday for an editing workshop.  Final draft is due on Friday.  The Root Word vocabulary quiz is on Thursday.
