1 Starter: Think & Pair (10 mins) So far we have covered the following common ICT systems: Payroll System Personnel System Accounts System Back Office System Transaction Processing System Workflow and Document Management System Collaborative Working System Management Information System Independently write down some of the tasks performed and who is likely to make use of the information for each system (5mins) Next work with the person your sitting next to and fill in the remaining gaps between you (5 mins)

3 Objectives At the end of the lesson, students should be able to investigate and understand the following systems, by describing their purpose, how they are used, tasks performed and who is likely to use them: Customer Relationship Management Systems Enterprise Information Systems Note this will be a fast pace lesson catching up on the lesson missed before Xmas!

4 Assessment Objectives (Outcome) Grade E/D Standard: Be able to briefly explain the purpose of all systems outlined on the previous objectives slide. Achieve more than 40% of the exam style question. Grade C/B Standard: Be able to describe in detail the purpose of all systems outlined on the objectives slide, as well as identify some of the key tasks performed for each system. Achieve 60% or more of the exam style question. Grade A Standard: Be able to describe the purpose and tasks undertaken in all systems listed on the objectives slide, as well as justify who is likely to use these particular systems and why? Achieve 80% or more in the exam style questions.
