2 DIRECTIONS 1. Take out a sheet of paper and write your name on it. 2. Write the problem down but do not solve. 3. When the Teacher says “Hot Potato” pass your paper to the person on your right. 4. The second person chooses the correct formula, writes it down and initials. Do not solve. 5. Teacher says “Hot Potato” and the second person passes the paper to the next person on their right. 6. The third person “plug it in” or “substitutes” the correct numbers for the formula and initials. 7. Teacher says “Hot Potato” and the paper is passed to the fourth person on the right. 8. The fourth person calculates the problem and initials. Teacher then shows correct answer to the class. Keep doing this for all the problems. At the end of the game, the original owner of the paper will get their paper back.
