14. PARENT LEARNING CENTER The Parent Learning Center provides an opportunity for parents to engage in study of various aspects of Judaism that parallels their student’s Religious School studies. The program addresses both parents and students, with the goal of carrying forward this learning and dialogue into the home. The topics that will be presented will be part of the students’ ongoing curriculum for this academic year. The program has been designed to help parents deal with many of the concerns and questions that children have about their lives, God, and Jewish heritage. These classes will be offered on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 – 8:30 pm the first Wednesday of each month, (0r the second Wednesday of the month in cases where a religious or national holiday falls on a Tuesday.) Train a child in the way he shall go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Pirkei Avot) 14
