15. Dinakar, A15 Artist Biography Akshay Dinakar was born on January 3 rd, 1997, in Cleveland, Ohio. Soon after moving to Kansas City at the age of three, Akshay began to show early interests in art. From drawing new inventions to building scale models of ideas out of toys and art materials, Akshay displayed signs of a huge imagination. As he grew older and matured, so did his art. Akshay is currently nearing the end of the eighth grade. His hobbies are practicing the violin, playing the clarinet and saxophone, playing basketball, and drawing designs for buildings.

16. Dinakar, A16 Artist Statement In his art, Akshay Dinakar tries his best to create images and sculptures that give others insight into his life. He also tries to show others his beliefs and interests by making art that has to do with his favorite things. (i.e. the Urban Vinyl model of a Duke Blue Devils mascot)
