3  Northwest University sits in the heart of Kirkland, WA, just 10 minutes away from Seattle. It is beautifully located on over 56 acres of wooded campus. ABOUT NORTHWEST UNIVERSITY (NU)  NU is home to over 1,200 undergraduate and graduate students.  NU offers over 75 undergraduate and graduate programs.

9 SUMMER CAMP 2014 DETAILS Daily Outline Mornings: English Classes, Afternoons: Cultural Activities Evenings: Group activities and free time Where:Northwest University, Kirkland, Washington When: Group 1: June 30th– July 18th Group 2: July 21st– August 8th Includes: Tuition, Accommodations, Meals, Snacks, Event/Activity Fees, Transportation. Medical Insurance, and 3-5 University Level Credits. Not included: Personal Spending Money, Visa Fees, or Airline Tickets. Activities Include: Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Mariner’s Baseball at Safeco Field, Seattle Aquarium, Lake Washington Boat Cruise, Seattle Premium Outlet Shopping, Bellevue Square Shopping, Downtown Seattle, Seattle Waterfront, Business Tours, ESL Classes, and much more!

15 LIVING AT NORTHWEST UNIVERSITY (NU)  All Summer Camp students live on campus in student dormitories.  2 students per room  Rooms are furnished with beds, bedding, dressers, and desks.

16  NU’s dorms have lounges with cable TV, pool tables, a community kitchens, and laundry rooms.  You will make lots of friends through evening activities in the dorm! LIVING AT NORTHWEST UNIVERSITY (NU)

17  The Caf offers a variety of food including hot meals, sandwiches, a salad bar, fresh produce, soups, and an ice cream station.  Summer Camp students will eat in the NU Cafeteria, located very close to the dormitories.

18 LIVING AT NORTHWEST UNIVERSITY (NU)  The NU campus had many amenities for your convenience and entertainment including a mail room, computer labs, fitness center, soccer fields, coffee shop, wellness center, and more!  Workout in our Fitness Center!  Play soccer or frisbee on our beautiful sports fields!  Grab a coffee or tea with a friend in Aerie- our coffee shop!

19  Clothes for 65-85 degree weather  Jacket/pants (evenings get cold)  $200-?? spending money  Bring more money if you want to buy many items when shopping.  Shopping at Bellevue Square Mall and Seattle Premium Outlet Mall (Coach, Armani, Louis Vuitton)  Towel  Pillow  Laptop (if you have one)  Notebook, pens, pencils  Passport PACKING TIPS: WHAT TO BRING
