2 Ch 2.3 Ecosystems are always changing. Define the following terms while you read: Limiting Factor - a condition that limits the growth of a population in a n ecosystem. Carrying Capacity – when a population reaches a state where it can no longer grow Succession – the gradual change in an ecosystem in which one biological community is replaced by another. Pioneer Species - are the first living things to move into a barren environment Read pages: 63-68. Finish the rest of the classwork/homework packet.
