5 Goals & Objectives ► An understanding of how to obtain access and log into SiteHawk ► Terminology used in SiteHawk ► Gain the skills necessary to use the tool to support your job function:  Review your plant’s notebook (facility inventory)  View inventory at the point of use locations (i.e. Chemical Area)  Search, browse and print SDS images, Safe Use Instructions and Workplace Labels  View the material summary (where full formulation is stored)  Export search results into excel  Run material, ingredient, chemical area reports ► An understanding of who to call when you need support

6 New Terminology

7 Definition of terms ► Notebook = plant inventory ► Ledger = electronic data set transaction by type (e.g. SDS, Chemical Area, Vendor) ► Gear = action menu for material related functions (e.g. print label, view SUI) ► Chemical Area = In HMCS terms this is our “Node” ► Caret = side ways drop down in SiteHawk, it expands areas of information ( ) ► Additional Properties = fields within SiteHawk that are specific to GM. It is data that is important to GM but not indexed by SiteHawk (e.g SUC # & SUC description). This data will be manage by both the processing center and the plants. ► Material Summary = In addition to the SDS & SUI, the material summary is a place to view the material at a glance, including the GM additional properties ► GM Product ID = HMCS id

9 SiteHawk Key Functions & Features ► Simplified User Interface  Easy basic menu  Materials are organized in user-friendly “ledgers” for easy and logical access to SDSs, SUIs, etc.  Results are easily sorted, filtered and exported ► Robust Search Capabilities  Google Style Search Bar  Filter Options  Material Properties Search ► Detailed Property Tracking  Fields exist for tracking materials by health and physical hazard ratings, classifications by agency(ies) (e.g., EU and GHS), PPE, Pictograms, synonyms, VOC's, and much, much more

10 SiteHawk Key Functions & Features Cont... ► SDS Version Management  Instant access to historical versions of active materials and simple access to SDSs associated with materials no longer in use (i.e., archived materials) ► Material Review  View information in a consistent format through the comprehensive material summary, section specific pages, or complete Manufacturer SDS ► Workplace Labeling  Quick printing of NFPA, HMIS, WHMIS, EU and GHS workplace labels on any standard laser printer ► Flexible Reporting Options  Easily accessible, customizable reports by facility and/or corporation for basic chemical inventory review (location, vendor, material, etc.)

13 User Interface – Logging In Go to the GM SupplyPower website at: https://gmsupplypower.covisint.com/web/portal/applications Go to I use an alternate Login and select General Motors from the dropdown Click Go

14 User Interface – Logging In ► Select Name from the Filter by: dropdown ► Enter SiteHawk as the criteria and click Search ► Click on SiteHawk PreProd

16 User Interface – Menu Options ► SiteHawk is menu based. Each page will have the same menu across the top. This allows you to access the main functions from any SiteHawk page. ► Simply click on the name of the function you wish to perform, or select from a drop down menu if one is available. 17 User Interface – Navigation Methods ► User Friendly Ledgers ► For your convenience your ledger home page lists the data sets available for each ledger Selecting a ledger will bring a drop down list of available data sets

18 User Interface – Navigation in the SDS Ledger Click on the SDS icon to view an image of the SDS Click the name of the material or component to view details (in the Material Summary) The Action Icon will give access to additional features

19 User Interface – Filters ► Results easily filtered by the icon.

20 User Interface – Export Function ► “Export” your results easily into excel.

21 Error Message ► Click on ‘home page’ to return, if you click on back arrow you will get the Webpage has expired error message listed below. Then most likely get kicked out of the system.

22 User Interface – Online Support & Help Click the ‘?’ (Help Icon) at any time to access the online help files with step-by-step instructions for common SiteHawk features

23 Online Support – Knowledge Center Populate this area with your question of what you want to know

24 User Interface – Logging off Clicking any one of the ‘X’ icons will log you off.
