2 Definition Stop motion is a process used as a form of animation then and now. Step #1 is where you move your object at one pace, then you take a picture. Step#2 you edit the pictures to make your object look like it’s moving. And viola you have something moving thanks to stop motion!

3 History Stop motion was created a long time ago all the way back in 800 B.c,by the very first puppeteer. Stop motion became very popular in the 1900’s and a man named Willis o Brien used stop motion for his films The Lost World and King Kong.

4 Claymation Claymation was the most popular form of stop motion ever used in film history. Commercials in the 1980’s used stop motion the most at the time nobility “The Noid ”from the Dominos Pizza advertisements. Claymation has also been used for numerous skits in the hit children's show Sesame Street. Claymation is also well known for other stars like Nickelodeon's Purple and brown shorts, Art Clokey’s Gumby, and Aardmans dynamic duo Wallace and Gromit. Don’t forget Claymation also created the star formerly known as Mr. Bill.
