Gideon is Challenged Gideon comes back from almost finishing the battle and is met up with resistance from people of Efraim “Why didn’t you invite us to come and fight in the war?”

Gideon’s Humulity Gideon realizes that it is not worth it to argue and instead he praises the people of Efraim. “Your grapeskins are better than our best grape harvests” “You captured Orave and Ze’ave.” The people of Efraim are calmed down This shows us Gideon’s great Leadership skills

Gideon Moves on.. Gideon has not finished conquering the enemy, he follows them to capture the remaining Midyani soldiers.

Gideon Needs some Help People of Sukkot Gideon and his 300 soldiers get hungry and need bread, so they ask the people of Sukkot along the way. He asks them for Bread but they refuse and say…. “Have you captured Zevach and Tzalmuna yet that we should give you bread”

Gideon promises revenge Gideon tells the people of Sukkot that they will get what they deserve, middah kineged middah. He will give them some thorn treatment/therapy.

More challenges People of Penuail Gideon meets the People of Penuail and asks for bread, but they too deny Gideon of the bread that he and his soldiers desperately needed. Gideon promises that he will tear down their tower that they put their trust in when he returns, to show that one should only trust in Hashem.

Escape? Zevach and Tzalmuna try to run away but they are captured.

Gideon returns… Gideon Returns to the people of Sukkot and Penuail and gives them what he promised them they would receive.

Gideon’s son Yeter Gideon wants his son Yeter to grow up to be a leader and a warrior like him and so e asks him to kill the rulers of Midyan, but he refuses as he was young and afraid.

Royalty Rules The kings of Midyan ask Gideon if he can kill them, and Gideon accepts their request.

“Gideon, Will you rule us?” The Jewish people want Gideon to be their ruler. Gideon refuses and says, “Hashem is your ruler.”

Gideon makes a request Gideon asks for Jewelry from his soldiers to build a monument/memorial of their miraculous victory. Sadly the Jews begin to worship this as an idol. After Gideon dies the Jews start worshipping idols and the cycle continues.
