Noise Interference with transmission and understanding of the message Paralingual Pitch and tone used to convey message Non Verbal Physical cues (Note: 55% of all communication is non-verbal)

See section 4.2.3.1 10.3.1.2 Project Communications Information that comes from multiple sources and is varied in format, level of detail degree of formality and confidentiality. May include:  Deliverables status  Schedule progress  Cost reports 10.3.1.3 Issue Log Used to catalog and monitor issues and their resolutions. Documents who is responsible for obtaining issue resolution and by what date. See section 13.3.3.1

Often used to identify if communications issues warrant action or intervention, what steps should be taken, by whom and the timeframe for taking action.

See section 4.3.3.3.

Locate proactive, methodical response choices to answer situational questions. Memorize the channel formula (N), but also read the question carefully to look for two items: 1) are they asking for “total vs. additional channels”, & 2) “is the project manager included as a part of the team”.
