Function theory of leadership- certain functions that must be performed if a group is to be successful. Three-dimension theory of leadership (stylistic approach)- describes 3 leadership styles –Autocratic- leaders are central figures who contain a high degree of control and power –Democratic- leaders and followers make decisions together and jointly determine courses of action –Laissez-faire- leaders are not involved with the teams decision making
