2 Toga The toga was the national garment of Rome it was worn by all men

3 Stola The stola is a toga but made for women

4 Cloak This was worn over the toga but most often replaced it in bad weather

5 Palla The blue garment this lady is wearing is a palla The palla acts as a cloak for women

6 Bulla Before the age of manhood, Roman boys wore a bulla containing protective amulets

7 Tunic (Tunica) The tunica is a shorter version of the toga sometimes acting as an undergarment to it

8 Peplos The peplos was one of two types of tunics for women

9 Chiton The Chiton was the second type of tunic worn by women

10 Men’s Shoe Calcei were worn outside and always with a toga

11 Women’s Shoe More open than a men’s shoe the women’s shoe looks more like the modern sandals (soleae, sandalia)
