Applications are connected separately. Remote Desktop to Windows OS Outside iPhone /iPad devices connect to a PC in the office using Windows Remote Desktop via a secure VPN on an Allied Telesis router. Any resources accessible from the PC in the office can be used from the iPhone/iPad without requiring a change to applications running on the office PC. 2

6. VPN access from a hotel or your home What is NAT-Traversal? For most routers, address translation interferes with the VPN connection. NAT-Traversal in AR routers encapsulates the VPN packets in UDP. The address translation is applied to the outer UDP layer, so the VPN packets inside are transmitted unaltered. 6
