5  Length: needs to be appropriate  ~5 to 100 pages  Niceties  TOC  Index (if appropriate)  Captions ▪ Tables ▪ Figures ▪ Screenshots  Pages numbered ▪ 1 of x format is best  Properly bound ▪ 3-ring binder ▪ Neatly stapled - book style (3 on the long side) ▪ Anything that looks nice and doesn’t easily come apart  Appendices if needed ▪ Good place for PowerPoints if used in presentation  Cover/Title must be visible from the outside!

8  Cover sheet must be visible on the outside with the following clearly identifiable:  Class name  Lab Section  Team Name  Team Number  Date  May embellish the cover with approriate logos, pictures, etc.  Signature sheet  Names typed, alphabetical order  Signatures ▪ - no signature, no grade  At the end of report

9  Will hand out form on presentation day  Turn in by end of day  Confidential between submitter and me  Optional comments  For ratings of 6 or lower:  Explanation of why ▪ Not: ▪ Fred was always late for meetings ▪ Fred never did anything ▪ Good: ▪ The group had 3 meetings planned: 11/22, 11/30, and 12/4. Fred missed the 11/22 and 12/4 meeting without informing the group ▪ Fred's main task was to test the xyz module with test cases 1 through 15. The group did not get the data by the target date.  Must be turned in!  Significant deduction if not turned in

11  A well documented failure is better than a badly documented success  Due Start of Lab 14  In your regular lab period  Presentations:  How is up to your team ▪ PowerPoint ▪ Live demo ▪ …  About 15 min. each (including setup) ▪ No longer than ½ hour  Note in requirements:  Last page: Typewritten team member names with signature ▪ No signature, no grade! ▪ Hint: make at least two copies with signatures now!  Project name, team name and number, course and lab section, etc. must be visible from the outside!

12  Make a copy of the report for yourself  If you want the original it will be available after May 17  Whole team must be present to get it ▪ At least those with a signature on the last page  Use it as support in interviews, etc.  Shows quality of your work  Shows ability to work with a team
