4. 4 The second telescope Will allow improving the threshold (30 GeV?) and reaching HESS’ angular resolution and sensitivity at the TeV Goal: to be ready end 2007, to make simultaneous observations with GLAST –Mechanics finished in Dec 2005, in schedule –Mirror production (new 1m 2 technology tested on MAGIC 1): contract for the production of the raw blanks signed in June We are late by 4 months, but still possibility to be on time
