1 Teacher Guide This lesson is designed to teach kids to ask a critical thinking question that you can’t just put into a search box to solve. To do that, we encourage them with smaller questions that search can help them answer. Make sure that you read the notes for each slide: they not only give you teaching tips but also provide answers and hints so you can help the kids if they are having trouble. Remember, you can always send feedback to the Bing in the Classroom team at BingInTheClassroom@Microsoft.com. You can learn more about the program at bing.com/classroom and follow the daily lessons on our Partners In Learning site. 3 The Los Lagos Region, which includes Chiloé Island off Chile’s central coast, marks the northern reaches of the kelp goose’s habitat. This beach-dwelling bird dines on several varieties of its namesake sea vegetation. And in an unusual spin on gender-specific plumage, the male has plain white feathers while the female sports brown plumes with nifty gray pinstripes. With most bird species, the male has flashy, decorative feathers so he can attract the attention of females. But maybe there’s something to the stark attire of the male kelp goose, at least in the eyes of the female kelp goose. Summarize a scholarly article involving the Kelp Goose.
