Students are not limited to the amount of authorized scratch paper that they may use. Make sure you have printed or copied enough scratch paper for all of the students in a test session. Scratch paper is considered to be a secure document, so dispose of all scratch paper accordingly. Students must use Session One scratch paper for session one and Session Two scratch paper for session two. Collect session one scratch paper after session one is complete.

This workstation acts as the Proctor Caching server –Test Content Pre-Caching – prior to a test session, a test administrator pre-populates the local Proctor Caching server with the test items by means of the Proctor Caching link on the PearsonAccess Session Details screen

Discuss with technology coordinator who will cache test before testing begins. Assign computers for all testing sessions and ensure TestNav has been installed. Set up test sessions in ADP PearsonAccess site (www.pearsonaccess.com).

All rights reserved.52 | Assessment & Information 52 The Day of Testing Proctor Cache the tests (This can be done starting approximately one week prior to testing.) Print the authorization tickets. (This can also be done ahead of time. Printed tickets should be treated as secure materials.) Print scratch paper for non-calculator and calculator sessions of the test. Print the seal codes. Write or post the first seal code only when everyone is ready to start the calculator session (if testing is done in one day) or after read-aloud instructions have been completed on the second day of testing (if testing over two consecutive days). Start the test sessions.
