8 Self-Assessment of Learning went up significantly during spring observations. Continued PD for May/June and 2015-16 will occur with a focus on aligning this practice to standards-based grading (new report card). Creating Products continues to be the HY strategy used the least We are planning a “Make and Take” Pre-Service PD session for K-5 teachers to come in for a day of PD. Focus on Products and Station Work that provides students with meaningful practice and application of skills as related to written/taught curriculum. Setting Learning Goals continues to be a less frequently used HY strategy. Although our focus all school year has been on writing “I can” learning targets, our students need to be given more involvement and ownership in setting their own learning goals. A focus in 2015-16 will be on student goal setting and student-led conferencing. Professional Development Plans for May/June and 2015-16
