3 Strategic goals for CLI 1.Lead and promote innovation in teaching and learning. 2.Design and develop innovative learning resources to meet student and teacher needs. 3.Provide teachers with professional learning and other support to enhance student learning outcomes. 4.Promote the use of ICT that enhance teaching and learning practice.

15 Using ICT in teaching and learning Each year, from K-12 students should participate in activities that assist in the development of their ability to: use ICT to locate, access, evaluate, manipulate, create, store and retrieve information express ideas and communicate with others, using ICT develop an awareness of the range of applications of ICT in society discriminate in their choice and use of ICT for a given purpose develop the confidence to explore, adapt and shape technological understandings and skills in response to challenges now and in the future.
