2 Program Committee Status and Upcoming Events 1/09/06, Letter requesting help in selecting PC members sent to OC. 1/31/06, Deadline for input from OC regarding PC membership. 2/13/06, Finalize PC membership and send out invitation letters. Need letter template in SPMS for automated mailing. 4/21/06, First PC meeting coincides with April APS Meeting (Dallas). Need to reserve hotel rooms and meeting rooms (Who?). Wireless connections for interface with SPMS at meeting (Who?). Focus will be classifications, SPMS customization, and invited talks. Late February 2007, Final PC Meeting (Albuquerque) Focus will be on selecting contributed orals and selecting session chairs.

4 Still Need to Do Soon Contact local tribes, colleges, and schools about participation/interest. Conference theme? Should there be one? Should the OC/PC help decide one? Did I forget anything?
