LNPA Workshop Update  Thousand Block (NXX-X) Pooling Administration Guidelines reissued with a date of January 10, 2000 u Incorporated all issues that closed since January 1999. u All interested parties may access the updated guidelines from the ATIS web site after January 24th (http://www.atis.org/atis/clc/inc/incdocs.htm)

5. LNPA Workshop  There are 5 open issues on pooling guidelines. The goal is to close these issues and release updated guidelines by April 1, 2000.  Status of Issue 177 on UNP - There are 9 contributions to be addressed at the February interim meeting.  The LNPA Workshop is focused on the pooling guideline issues and the UNP issue. To date, no contributions have been received on Issue 164 ITN.

6. Audit Workshop Update u INC has drafted a new section for the CO Code Guidelines dealing with audits u The goal is to incorporate the NANC Audit Framework into the CO Code Guidelines by the end of second quarter 2000.

7. NANP Expansion Workshop Update  INC issued the Interim NANP Expansion Report (December 1999).  INC requested input from 19 national regulators regarding the two main assumptions: u The INC Uniform Dialing Plan must be implemented prior to expansion of the NANP u The D Digit must NOT be released prior to expansion of the NANP

8. Request for Clarification from the NANC  INC would like clarification regarding the NANC September 28, 1999 letter re Reseller/Type 1 Wireless Carrier Utilization Reporting Requirements. Did the reference to 1000 or more TNs within an NXX imply: u sequential TNs in quantities of at least 1000 (e.g., 1025-2024) or u any combination of TNs adding up to 1000 or more? u Does the NANC intend for the same recommendation to apply in a block pooling environment?
