The Ancient Antarctic Necklace By Archie, Amy, Flora, James Choose your own adventure

On a rough sea, in Antarctica, you are struggling to regain control on your motor boat in a storm of terrible thunder and lightening. “BANG, CLASH!” a bolt of lightening streams through the sky like a knife slicing through meat. At this terrible moment you don’t think you’re going to make it through the night ahead of you. Archie calls out to you through the wind: “ I don’t think we’re going to make it. The storms too strong and we’re losing power, we need to stop, and fast!” Do you go round Antarctica by boat with paddles? Do you go straight ahead by foot where you can be seen, however, it’s a faster root? 1

Suddenly, lightening strikes a second time, you and Archie are in a terrible position and in terrible danger of being electrocuted. Continuously, the storm keeps getting worse, as expected, night is clearly unveiling and it’s getting dark extremely quickly. You have no idea where you are or what is happening. You then say to Archie in a hushed voice: “ The storm is getting worse and we need to find land in the dark before the yetis come out to hunt.” lightening flashes again… Do you sleep for the night in your boat, a danger of being approached by yetis? Do you carry on through the night keeping an eye out on foot? 2

Walking forward in the icy sea you notice something moving on land, a hideous furry creature that you and Archie cannot make out in the darkness of night. Is it a yeti? Or a trick of the light of the moon? Thinking it has to be a tree you bravely carry on through the freezing liquid of the ocean. As you and Archie creep closer and closer you clearly figure out it must be a yeti however just as you try to get away… it notices you! Archie screams and collapses into the shallows and won’t wake up! Do you flea from this terrifying creature? Do you fight a terrible fight to save your friend’s life for all eternity? 3

You decide to sleep the night in your boat hoping no yetis will find you, but your luck turns when a yeti tries to attack you and Archie. The two of you are running for safety deeper and deeper into the boat, however the yeti crushes the stairs and makes a leak in the boat that is big enough to let you swim into the water. You know that the water is freezing. At that moment Archie finds a way to get to land quickly. You realise the yeti is getting closer and closer and closer…. Do you swim under the water and hope to find the pearl necklace? Do you run through the passageway trying to get to land without the yeti seeing? 4

You carry on through the night on foot searching for the necklace. Archie is complaining about how long the journey is and how tired he is. You ignore him in search for the pearl necklace’s location. After a long and tiring walk you come across two passageways one leading East one leading West. “err, I don’t think this is a good idea, which one should we go in?” Archie asks you sighing. Do you go East to find the necklace? Do you travel West to find the necklace? 5

Archie grabs your wrist and you two sprint away from the yetis as fast as you can. Suddenly Archie stops he realises he has no clue where he is going. You see the yeti and hide from him in a chipped ice burg you start to shiver and breath air into your hands the yeti spots the air and approaches you. Archie slips past him and tries to distract him. Meanwhile you crawl over to a different ice burg and throw a snowball far into the distance the yeti runs over to where the snowball landed and becomes out of sight. Do you find a new path to follow? Do you carry on the journey you were currently on? 6

Grasping out to try and grab him, he hurls himself towards you; he then grabs you and Archie by the head swerving you uncontrollably. Just as you and your friend think there’s a chance of escape the yeti’s hand tightens sharply around your small head. There seems, now, to be no chance of escape. You and Archie hang there constantly thinking about how to get out of your sticky situation. Do you let the yeti take you to his lair maybe risking death? Do you try once again to struggle out of the yeti’s evil, clasping hand? 7

Your swimming under the water hoping to find the pearl necklace with Archie. You’ve been underwater for over three minuets and oxygen is running out. Slowly, you loose your breath and for the next half an hour your sinking to the bottom of the sea bed. you have failed your mission! 8

You choose to swim back to land. When you get there you have to run from the yeti. he’s getting closer and closer, Archie starts to get tired. He grabs your bleeding leg but before he can pull you over, you kick him in the chin. He squeals as he falls to the ground. Later that day you realise you don’t have the pearl necklace. Archie wants to try again but you tell him that the yetis will be guarding it more than ever and it’s getting to cold these days. You have no choice but to give up. You Failed Your Mission! 9

You head east and as you go you see, the necklace in the sea you decide to swim under, you get attacked by a sea lion he suddenly goes for a bite, you dodge it and take a punch. He dodges it and squeezes you. Then Archie kicks it in the face and knocks it out! Soon enough you find the necklace. you take it. Archie finds a helicopter and you fly back home. Later that day you give the necklace to the builder, he builds grandpas house up. You have succeeded! 10

You decide to head west as you go down the path you see mysterious signs not knowing what they mean. Suddenly your legs get trapped, then Archie's. In a blink of an eye something walks up behind you, then all you see is black. Later that day you wake up unaware of where you are then you see a yeti you try to run but chops your head off! You died! 11

You head west the yeti soon gives up, but you still head onwards. Lurking in the dark back ground you see a few mysterious creatures, in a blink of an eye you realise the yeti’s whilst scrambling into the distance. Soon enough you decide to lurk onwards, suddenly you feel your feet slipping as you fall into a dark trap in the icy cold ground you shout for help, but no one comes. It starts to get dark, soon in the morning you wake up feeling nothing of your body you have froze to your death, never to be seen again.... You have failed your mission! 12

You go on the path, where the yeti’s lair is, you discover where the yeti is lurking. You have a battle with the yeti, but then, when in the middle of a fight, you discover the yeti is too strong, you collapse to the ground and the yeti walks away back into his lair, leaving you unconscious. You have failed! 13

Clash! You run out of the yeti’s lair. The yeti may be stronger than you, but you are way faster. You escape through the mountains and live there for the rest of your life, in mountains and trees, living on food which is meat from the wild, drinking dirty water and on the run from the yeti. You are tired! 14

The yeti ties you up, in his lair, he puts you on a stick over a hot, boiling fire for the yeti to eat you. That’s why you should not camp out in the open! You can not escape from the yeti. You are trapped and a prisoner. You are captured! 15
