You’re stuck Obviously. You can feel the scolding heat upon your back. You’re stuck. Obviously nothing can prise you from the forceps of an old Pepper tree. A light bulb clicks on inside your head, almost instantaneously you start to fall towards your doom. Out of the corner of your eye you spot a set of branches, you have milliseconds to decide… If you scramble to the nearest branch, turn to page 38 If you risk it all, turn to page 7

You scramble for the nearest branch but a split second decision cant save you. Your doom has arrived. As you hit the ground an enormous ‘CRACK’ bursts your ear drums. You know what’s just happened. You’ll be paralyzed for life. You scream for help, but nobody can hear your faint pleads. No one will know how you died in… The End

You hit the ground with a dose of mere ground-shock, your legal guardians call you over. It’s time to leave. You jump into the car, your heading to a SECRET location. “Papa Aroha” You start thinking aimless thoughts as you drift off to sleep… You’re Jolted awake by the sound of grave and a not-so-flashy sign flashes before your eyes: Pohutukawa Coast Chalets. You jump out of the car, burst open the door of the a-frame house and start unpacking everything in sight… Your Hair forced back and the sea in your face as jet across the Hauraki Gulf in your boat. The engine is cut and your line sinks to the depths of the ocean. Nothing Had Happened for hours but for a few minutes now, something has been rippling the water. A shiver is sent down your Spine. Something just is right here … If you decide to leave, turn to page 160 If you decide to wait around, turn to page 18

You decide to leave, things are beginning to creep you out and you need to act quick. You slip the key but nothing happens. You turn around and it hits you. Literally. Square on the head. As you are dragged underwater by a creature unknown, you think your last thoughts: “I’ll be going to a better place and anyway a Good Captain always goes down with his Ship…”

You decide to wait and see what happens. Something starts moving within the water. Rapidly, it begins to surface, Fear freezes the Air within your lungs… Until a Kawhai jumps out of the Hauraki. “You’ve got to be kidding me” You scream, jumping about like an idiot. That has got to be enough adrenaline to last you a lifetime, plus nothing fishy is coming your way. So, you decide to pull anchor and say goodbye… Back at the Chalets, Boredom strikes and you have nothing better to do than sleep your troubles away. Just forget about the world. In the dead of night you rise from your slumber. Your body feels light, almost empty. An Overwhelming urge is pulling you towards a source of un-natural power. If you let it control you, turn to page 25 If you resist the urge, turn to page 97

You rush out the door head over heals, but wait you missed the spot. You take 2 steps back and turn 90 degrees towards the kitchen. “Interesting.” “We have more White-ware than I imagined.” You lever open the door of the fridge, being careful not to disturb anyone asleep. “First in, First Served I suppose.” “Funny That…”

You try to resist the temptation, But it just wont stop pulling you. Your strength begins to fade. The light begins to close in around you. You pass out… That morning you wake, Muscles and bones aching. You head down to the beach to refresh your body. You dive into the salt sea, But you cut your finger on a rock. “I know… A Shark can smell one drop of blood in 40,000 litres of water and this place is notorious for sharks.” Something grazes the side of your left leg, Your dragged under…
