3. We’ve been to all the regions in this class like the Appalachian Plateau, Ridge and Valley, the Blue Ridge, the Piedmont, and the Coastal Plain. My favorite region is the Piedmont.

4. Some interesting facts about the regions of Georgia: The Piedmont is the most populated. Farming is the major industry of the Coastal Plain. Tourism is the big money maker for Georgia in the Blue Ridge. Each region has a particular climate as well. If you like a warm, sticky climate then you would like the Coastal Plain. If you like cool temperatures and the chance of snow, then the Blue Ridge region is for you. Overall, Georgia has industrial areas and populated cities in the northern regions and mostly farming with a few large cities like Savannah and Brunswick toward the south. On to the next destination….
