2  Customers usually wait a lot of time standing in queues and then waiting for their orders. Sometimes the customers skip their meals causing unaccounted revenue loss for the company. This system is severely out-dated and needs a revolutionary change.

3  Long queues in peak times at fast food restaurants.  We even skip eating from places where queuing time is more than expected.  In metro cities like Mumbai, fast food chains like Dominoes, McDonalds ordering food becomes very tedious.

5  What if we have a smart app that makes an order for us ???  What if my smart phone saves me from hectic queues during my college break times ?????  Will it not be cool if our order is waiting for us ???

6  The smart-bite is an app which redefines the notion of customer experience and takes it to a whole new level by tightly integrating real life scenarios with our smartphones.  Through SmartBite we aim to tackle the queuing problems at restaurants which plague most populous nations like ours. It will allow the smartphone users to place their orders at fast food joints without standing in queues.

8 1. The app will first track users’ location first. 2. Based on the current location it will display all popular eateries in and around the area. It will also give suggestions based on users’ past behaviour of selecting a restaurant. 3. It will continuously track the user’s location so that it automatically displays the menu of the restaurant the user is already inside. 4. Now user will select from the menu and place his/her order with a few clicks. 5. The app will generate an order number and will give notification when the order gets ready. The user can either pay through e-payment or by cash. 6. For home delivery options the restaurant is to be selected manually.

9  Smart-bite will have tie ups with all the major food chains like McDonalds, Dominos, Pizza Hut, CCD and all possible brands. It will also try to cover up local restaurants so as to provide maximum options to users.  Smart-Bite will not only add the value to the customer experience but will also help restaurants to implement customer relationship management(CRM).  With the help of SAP HANA the restaurants can keep track of their regular customers and so can offer special discounts to them.
