Meet Loz the oxygen cell. Loz is going to show a day in his life as he travels through the respiratory system. Loz allows people to breathe, remain alive and also allows people to travel under water and in space to explore the unknown. Today we will travel to the different parts of the respiratory system and into the bloodstream. This includes: The mouth, trachea, bronchi, bronchioles, the alveoli, alveoli cells, capillaries, cell membrane of red blood cell.

First to start the day Loz and his friends enter into the body through the mouth, and in turn some carbon dioxide leaves for the day.

They then travel down the trachea, through the larynx (where speech and sounds are made.) the trachea then splits into two smaller tubes called the bronchi. Each bronchus then divides again forming the bronchial tubes.

From there the bronchial tubes lead directly into the lungs where they divide into many smaller tubes which connect to tiny sacs called alveoli. Inside an alveoli.

Once inside the Alveoli, Loz and his friends wiggle through the alveoli and the capillary wall to get into the Pulmonary Vein.

Once Loz and his friends are in the vein they then look for a red blood cell to transport them to the heart and the rest of the body.

Upon finding one they then jump onto a red blood cell and sitting on the hemoglobin, to get transported to the pulmonary artery. Hemoglobin.

The red blood cells then go through the pulmonary artery and into the heart, which then pumps out the oxygen rich blood into the body.
