1 Be able to explain what a case study is. Contribute to a discussion about the mark scheme and a model answer of a question for Economic Activity. Explain how to make positive comments on each others work and set targets for improvement. Demonstrate your knowledge of the mark scheme by completing a question based on a case study example for migration.

2 Each examination question has a case study sub-question It asks you to write about a real geography example you have learned about. It assesses your knowledge and understanding of this example. It is worth 8 out of 25 marks. It is marked at 3 levels.

Large-scale deforestation has meant that animal habitats have been destroyed, so some animals are becoming extinct.
