13 Where individuals cut grass on highway grass verges outside or adjacent to their properties:- – they do so at their own risk – they must have the correct equipment to cut the grass safely and – they must not endanger themselves or other members of the public. www.nwleics.gov.uk

14 QUESTIONS Can residents cut highway grass verges within villages? Is formal permission required? How should the grass cuttings be disposed of? Can residents/parish councils cut larger green spaces currently maintained by LCC? www.nwleics.gov.uk
