9. The BPO Bid System assigns a strong priority to December Graduates during the fall semester and then does not permit December graduates to interview during the spring. Year-end statistics show that on average, December grads and other majors have taken an equal number of interviews. Employers interviewing in the fall often have immediate openings and prefer to see December graduates as a priority since they can interview others during their return visit in the spring. Some Non-December grads have requested that the BPO remove the strong priority for December grads. Many employers have insisted on the priority, so we have a conflict. Many employers threaten to stop coming in the fall. We need your opinion.
