If there be sorry Let it be For things undone… undreamed unrealized unattained For these add one: Love withheld Restrained.

This poem is speaking about all these things in life you have missed. All these times when you were so focused on that one-not-so- important thing while missing the real good things in life – friends, family, love… You had your goals that you thought were so important, maybe they were, but while trying to achieve them, you didn’t let yourself think about something else, to have other hopes or dreams. You’ve missed all the other things on the way, and when you noticed that, it was too late. Usually, you’re not sorry for these things you have done; you’re sorry for those things you could have done, but didn’t.

While surfing online I ran into this poem that was written by a young girl who was dying of cancer, her last wish was to publish her song, so her parents published it on the net.

Have you ever watched kids On a merry-go-round? Or listened to the rain Lapping on the ground? Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight Or gazed at the sun into a fading night? You better slow down, Don't dance so fast. Time is short, The music won't last.

Do you run through each day on the fly? When you ask "How are you?" Do you hear the reply? When the day is done, Do you lie in your bed With the next hundred chores Running through your head? You'd better slow down, Don't dance so fast. Time is short, The music won't last.

Ever told your child, We'll do it tomorrow And in your haste, not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch, Let a good friendship die 'Cause you never had time To call and say "Hi"? You'd better slow down, Don't dance so fast. Time is short, The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere, You miss half the fun of getting there. When you worry and hurry through your day, It is like an unopened gift... Thrown away... Life is not a race. Do take it slower. Hear the music Before the song is over.

Don’t let time slip away…
