1. Eligibility Criteria & Required Documentations

2. 1. Academic Priority Program List  the program you apply for must be on the approved Academic Priority List for 2013 2. Certified birth certificate  age limit – 40 yrs (39yrs until Jan 2013)

3. 3. Passport Details/Citizenship certificate  Kiribati citizen 4. Permanent Employment letter  Only permanent employees are eligible  Applicant must have served for 3 consistent yrs in that agency  Applicant must not have taken leave/absent from work for at least 1 year (any reason)

4. 5. 3 years Disciplinary sanction – must have lapsed prior to applying 6. Certified certificate & transcripts (Tertiary Study) – indication of GPA

5. 7. Applicant must apply for higher level program than the existing qualification held. 8.Certified copy of English Test (Institution’s requirement)  IELTS for out of region  LL114/UU114 for USP  KELT for institutions which do not have specific English Test requirements (FIT, FSN, FNU)

6. 9. Acceptance letter from the University or any written proof from the institution (assuarance) 10. Are you applying for a post graduate by research program?  attach a research proposal of no more than 500 words  Placement offer from the University

7. 11. Has the applicant ever granted in-service academic training before?  ever failed a Tertiary course/program?  passed a Tertiary course/program since their failure?  applicant’s program ever being terminated either by the sponsor or University?

8. 12. Upon completion of the program, will the applicant be able to complete the bond (1.5 times the length of the award)  if granted 2 yrs award = bonded for 3 yrs  if granted 3 yrs award = bonded for 4.5 yrs

9. 1. Academic & Vocational Certificates (must include subject grades) 2. Relevant Documents for consideration 3. Birth Certificate 4. Medical Certificate 5. Police Clearance (front page of application)
