4  We exist to guide knowledge, skills and capability development for MRC unit leaders believing that competent and capable unit leaders will be able to effectively lead volunteers and administer units so that the units are actively engaged in meeting community needs.  We also exist to improve situational awareness and understanding of the MRC network for ASPR, other HHS leaders and staff, and stakeholders believing that these better informed individuals will support the MRC program so that the MRC network is more sustainable and better able to achieve its mission PurposeStatements Purpose Statements
